Swinging
Jazz Concert
On April 27, the Temple Emanu-El Brotherhood holds its 17th annual
jazz concert and fundraiser. This year, C. Calloway Brooks,
grandson of Cab Calloway, is bringing his famous grandfather’s
big band to Marblehead. The orchestra is celebrating the 100th
anniversary of Cab’s birthday and has planned several special
numbers. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $18 for
students. The concert begins at 7 p.m., followed by dancing at 8:30
p.m. Temple Emanu-El is located on 393 Atlantic Ave. in Marblehead.
