Teen Spinning Class

Tue, March 02, 2010

When it comes to exercise, teenagers are different. They like different music, a different atmosphere in class and they especially enjoy being with their peers. It’s important for young people to work out and spinning is a great way to achieve ultimate cardiovascular fitness. Whether your teenager needs to lose weight, get in better shape, or build strength, this class is a perfect fit. The Teen Spinning class is a great conditioning class that will help bring teens to the next level in sports ranging from track and football to hockey and lacrosse and soccer to basketball. And since an average 45-minute spin class will burn between 300 – 600 calories depending upon the individual, it is a great calorie-burning workout. The class is taught by Maria Calla and is geared to teens between the ages of 12 and 16. It meets for four weeks on Tuesdays beginning March 2 between 4 and 5 p.m. The cost is $40 for members and $48 for the community.
