••• Attended the Big Tweet at Endicott College on June 17. Sponsored by Creative Economy Association of the North Shore…it was fascinating as to how many different ways one can use twitter to get your personal and professional message out to the world…check it out!

••• Happy birthday to me! And what a whirlwind it was…good friends celebrating at my favorite Peabody haunt, Sugarcane. Great food, great ambiance. When you go, tell Kevin and Raymond that the Journal sent you. They will treat you well.

••• The biggest news around here is that the staff at the JCC has a new acting executive director. Tony Daniels of Sovereign Bank will take over the helm and from what I hear, it’s all good! Best of luck to Tony in his new endeavor and we know he will do great things!

••• By the way, the Marblehead Farmers’ Market is now open every Saturday rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon. Lots of organic produce, meat, eggs and cheese. Let’s support our local food suppliers in a fun and friendly spot — behind the Veterans Middle School on Pleasant Street. There is always entertainment, samples and long lines for the cider donuts!

••• Well-known singer Rick Recht will be throwing a community sponsored FREE concert by the JCC pool in Marblehead on July 6th from 6-7p.m. He is a terrific entertainer. It should be fun for the entire mishpocheh.

••• For my final thought of the day, a very happy Father’s Day to all of you dads. I hope you enjoyed and celebrated your special Sunday. Don’t forget, it’s all about you (tell them I said so).
