There will be dancing feet and flying horas as hundreds of dancers take to the stage at the 34th annual Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston, taking place March 14. The event will be held at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium in Cambridge at 3 p.m. Dancers from Boston will be joined by performers from the Eastern United States in an afternoon of traditional and modern Israeli folk dance. The performance will be preceded by an Israeli market from 1-3 p.m. where colorful arts, crafts and Judaica will be available for purchase.

Over 20 dance groups are expected to perform. This year’s participants will include the Nitzanim of Atlanta, Yonim of Wisconsin and Parparim of New York City, as well as local favorites Zikukim, Ruach Aviv, Kalaniot of Boston University, and B’Yachad of Brandeis University.

Tickets are $15 and are available at http://www.bostonfestival.org.
