Woodbridge Assisted Living welcomed Emily Guiney, 9, of Swampscott and her cousin Taylor Darcey, 8, of North Andover who came to present the residents of Woodbridge with two quilted lap blankets which they had hand-sewn under the guidance of their grandmother, Sheila Darcey of Lynn.

The idea of quilted lap blankets and gifting them to Woodbridge originated from a Christmas gift that Darcey gave to the girls. Over the next several months, Darcey and her granddaughters worked on creating the beautiful blankets. Now Woodbridge residents are the lucky recipients of their generous and thoughtful donation.

Accompanying the young girls were their grandmothers, Sheila Darcey and Debbie Laudini of Andover. The girls’ cousins Gabi, Abby and Lindsay also came.
