The Jewish Rehabilitation Centers for Living has changed its name. It is now Aviv Centers for Living and each of the facilities it operates will be renamed to begin with the word, Aviv (Hebrew for spring or rebirth). The move is designed to make it clear that all its operations are united and under the same corporate entity.
Stephen H. Neff, President and Chief Executive Officer made the announcement at Aviv’s annual golf tournament and fundraiser at Kernwood Country Club on Monday evening, June 8.
“After 63 years of service as JRCL, this event signals an important coming of age for our organization. After continued steady growth, it is time for us to consolidate the pieces we have built under one umbrella brand,” Neff said.
The entities’ new names are: Aviv Jewish Rehabilitation Center serving 176; Aviv Home Care serving 60; Aviv Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Center serving 100; Aviv Woodbridge Assisted Living and Aviv Legacy at Woodbridge (for Alzheimer’s and related dementia) with 130 rental units.
Aviv employs 425 individuals in its five divisions.
