BOSTON —
On Tuesday, March 9th, North Shore Community Mediation Center was awarded a grant by The Lenny Zakim Fund and was honored at an awards ceremony in Boston. The NSCMC was one of over 40 grassroots, community-based organizations that received 2009-2010 grants from The Lenny Zakim Fund.
North Shore Community Mediation Center, an independent non-profit corporation begun in 1994, provides alternative dispute resolution and training services to the courts, schools, residents and communities of Essex County.
As executive director of the New England Region of the Anti-Defamation League, Lenny Zakim fought tirelessly to put an end to prejudice, civil rights violations, anti-Semitism, racism and bigotry of all kinds.
