After 27 years in an administrative role at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, Elizabeth “Betsy” Mullen will serve as executive director of the 100-bed Leonard Florence Center for Living, a groundbreaking Green House® model skilled nursing home set to open next month on Admiral’s Hill in Chelsea.
Mullen, who received an undergraduate degree in nursing from Boston College and a graduate degree from Boston University, began her tenure with the Chelsea Jewish Foundation in 1982 when she became director of nursing services for the 123-bed Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, later serving as an assistant administrator and then as executive director of the facility. In addition to her current role, Mullen remains the Executive Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Chelsea Jewish Foundation.
