New Jew Crew Learning Series: ‘Welcome to Hollywood’

From road-trip comedies and vampire love stories, to magical adventures in a make-believe world, the culture of Hollywood subliminally influences our society. Just how much sway should movies and television have on your life, and is there more to fame, fortune, love and friendship than what you see on the big screen?

The North of Boston Jew Crew’s new teen learning series is “Welcome to Hollywood: Are You Ready to Get Discovered?” It will be taught by Rabbi Yossi Lipsker.

This course will run in six installments, beginning Sunday, January 24. Each class will run from 11 a.m. to noon. The cost is $50, and registration fees can be paid online at http://www.nsjewish.com. Classes will be held at the Chabad Community Shul at 44 Burrill Street, Swampscott.
