Jeremy Dunn

I need your help. My son, Jeremy Dunn, age 11, was bitten by a dog on Sunday at Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody. The owner took off before we could get information about whether or not the dog had his rabies shot. Jeremy had to endure four painful shots this week, and has four more to go. Does anyone around the Temple Ner Tamid area (368 Lowell Street) know an older man, maybe 60-70, silver hair, portly, who has a brown dachshund?

Jeremy had been waiting for the Kosher Food Pantry delivery truck to arrive in the parking lot of the temple, as he is a volunteer. While waiting, the man walked by with his dachshund and Jeremy asked if he could pet him. The man said, just don’t touch his nose. Jeremy leaned down to pat the dog’s back and the dog turned around and bit him on the right forearm and broke the skin.

Jeremy and his friend ran inside the temple for help, and within that two minutes that they left the scene to get an adult, the man left.

Please call me, Laurie Dunn of Peabody, if you have any information. Contact me at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or telephone Temple Ner Tamid at 978-532-1293.
