The Swampscott Public Library is proud to announce the 6th annual Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest. Applicants must live in Swampscott, or attend a school located in Swampscott. The contest is for 7th to 12th grade students. Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the winners. Students must submit their own original poems, no longer than 40 lines. The deadline for submission is Thursday, February 25, 2010. Winners will be notified by March 31, 2010. The awards ceremony will be at the Swampscott Public Library in April during National Poetry Month.
